As part of the programme of events, the hosts were responsible for the organisation of interactive activities. The purpose of these activities was to facilitate discussion and revision of all the European values, and to enable their practical implementation.
The following principles were observed during the performance of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince: responsibility, friendship, respect and non-discrimination. All participants were actively involved in the performance and recognition of values.
During the Multipliers event, a visit was paid to Kaunas Saint Roch School, an institution which aims to provide special education, rehabilitation, and social services to students with individual needs, as well as to advise regional communities on how to effectively implement inclusive education and promote the integration of all children into society. The values of inclusive education and respect for otherness were emphasised during the event.
For better understanding of our common values the project participants took part in the sightseeing tour “Modernist” Kaunas: Architecture of Optimism, 1919-193. Modernist Kaunas is truly a time capsule of the 1919–1939 period. The location and setting, form and design, material and substance as well as use and function of the property all represent a historic modernist city of the interwar period that evolved harmoniously, integrating the natural and historic settings, producing a diverse legacy of architectural modernism.
The importance of healthy and educated individuals is universally recognised and highly valued. To expand our knowledge on the subject of (Un)Healthy food, a visit was undertaken to the KTU Food Institute, an institution engaged in research and validation within the domain of the food system, with a focus on food safety, quality, and authenticity. The institute also engages in research on technologies and the study of healthy food.
International groups of students were tasked with creating presentations on the activities and their experiences of learning together about European values during the project meeting in Lithuania.
The final evening of the project meeting was made memorable by the folk group "Ratilėliss", who engaged the attendees in traditional Lithuanian pastimes such as folk games, dances and the performance of folk songs.
On the last day of the project meeting for learning the participants visited Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. They had possibility not only to learn some historical facts to adore Vilnius Old Town, inscribed into UNESCO world heritage, but also experienced a pleasure of meeting Mr. Petras Austrevicius, the member of European Parliament, who told about the European Values from his perspective and encouraged young people to cherish those values.
On the final day of the project meeting, the participants undertook an excursion to Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania. The educational experience offered to the students was enriched by their engagement with historical facts and the opportunity to explore the Old Town of Vilnius, a site inscribed onto the UNESCO World Heritage List. A notable highlight of the programme was the encounter with Mr. Petras Austrevicius, a member of the European Parliament, who expounded on the concept of European Values from his personal perspective. Mr. Austrevicius' discourse encouraged the students to reflect on the importance of cherishing these values in their personal and collective lives.
