THE RESULTS OF THIS ACTIVITY:
The Turkish partners and host families warmly welcomed the project participants upon their arrival.
Social activities, such as icebreakers and cultural exchanges, including learning dances in mixed groups from partner countries, helped the students open up to new acquaintances and foster intercultural cooperation.
An interactive tour of the school, visiting its main areas, provided a better insight into the daily life of the Turkish partners. A rich programme involved all project participants in activities representing key European values: "Respect and Non-Discrimination", "Collaboration and Freedom", "Tolerance and Equality", and "Love and Justice", "Unity and Solidarity".
An interactive city game and a visit to the city museum and mosque revealed the deep and rich history and cultural heritage of Sivas, a city closely linked with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the birth of the modern Turkish Republic.
Our visit to the Ahmet Kutsi Tecer Special Education and Vocational Training School revealed the potential for integrating general education and vocational training at the secondary level. We visited various workshops and watched an artistic performance by the students.
Daily, a review of the day's operations was conducted, proposals were put forward, and strategies were revised. All participants were awarded certificates of participation.
The participants had the opportunity to take part in a cultural trip to Cappadocia, where they could enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and get to know the historical, cultural, spiritual, and natural heritage of this fascinating part of Türkiye with the help of an inspiring guide.
This video was shot with the joint co-operation of all participants during the activation. The video was also shared on social media platforms in order to disseminate our project and ensure the visibility of our project and European Union funds.
